Snowdate 121709 Amazing

I am amazed that no one is skiing and snowshoeing. This last weekend another 2″ of wet snow fell. It has hardened and multiple dusting’s have occurred. I skied last night. It was quick and a blast. Tracks are superb. Old Saranac proverb. “Ski today-sleep tomorrow!”

So we have snow4-6 ” of wet snow. I skiied last night on Saranac and Solstice. Very boney. Rocks still showing. Beware. Many trails in woods and wet spots should be avoided.

2″ of snow in the last 2 days. May be able to ski in the meadow if you don’t care about your skies. Perfect for the die-hards. Still need lots more snow! Keep doing the snow dance.

First Ski Report of the Season

OK yes we need snow. Last lear at this time I had close to 10 hours of skiing in. The trails are in excellent shape. Look at the new map. There are new ones too. New here? Make sure you have a compass. Skis are dusted off and waiting to go. Calling for snow…..please god! [...]
