Spring Bird Walk

[ May 22, 2010; 8:00 am to 10:00 am. ] Saturday, May 22nd 8-10am.

NLT member and Professor at Paul Smiths College, Dr. Janet Mihuc will lead a Spring Bird Walk.

Join us to explore the various habitats on the New Land Trust, such as the meadow, the sugarbush, the apple orchard, a pine forest, as we are apt to see different species in different areas.

Cold nights and warm days. This makes for constant changing conditions. Skies or snowshoes? That is the question. Which do I use? Bring both. Still 100% cover on the trails. Come one, come all. Enjoy!

March 1st, At this point I figure there is one month of good skiing left. Of course i can be wrong (one way or the other). Lots of activity this weekend. It definitely helped pack the 16+ inches of snow received. Tracks are in excellent condition with a dusting of new snow. Enjoy!

ADK Outing

[ March 6, 2010 to March 7, 2010. ] Troop 44 will be camping at Luke’s Lodge the weekend of March 6 and 7.
