Thursday, January 5th, 20125:00 AM another 1″ of new snow. Reports have it that the skiing is very good. Getting better with every Alberta Clipper that comes through. Just because there is no snow where you are does not mean the NLT is bare…..ha ha.

Monday, January 2nd, 20121 / 2″ new snow. 11:00 am Just finished a nice 1 hour ski. Cover is great on open trails such as Saranac, Solstice ( lower section) Meadows. I even skied darkside and Stardust. Cover is thin. You will hit rocks im sure. All and all it is really good.Going back out this afternoon.

Thursday, November 24th, 20119″-12″ of new snow. I trugged through many trails yesterday. Everything is covered although you will hit rocks. If you plan on coming today, do it early before it disapears!

Friday, April 1st, 20116″ so far and still dumping. Never seen snow flakes so big. Size of quarters. Been snowing all morning and still accumulating. I went for a ski and even though it is a warm wet snow, it’s fine skiing. Happy April 1st .

Monday, March 28th, 2011Spring is in the Air.
That also means the snow is changing from solid-to-liquid and liquid-to-solid.
It’s a beautiful time to be out, and you can see all the critters are quite active.
I recommend snowshoes for full enjoyment. Cheers.
